Our journey begins in Japan, where the second-hand market offers privileged access to vintage collections and models that can sometimes be difficult to find. From historic luxury houses to more contemporary designs, we explore this world in search of pieces that deserve a second life.

Purchased in person, never sight unseen.

Every piece in the catalog has been found and sourced by us personally, in-store, from established Japanese second-hand retailers. We do not work with any supplier we have not met in person, and we do not purchase lots sight unseen.

The selection of these retailers is no coincidence. They are recognized players in the Japanese market, operating within channels governed by common regulations.

An initial inspection, even before we purchase.

These retailers verify the authenticity of the pieces before they are put on display. They are members of the AACD, the Japanese trade regulation association that combats the distribution of counterfeit goods and imposes common standards on its members.

They rely on specialized authentication services, notably FAKE BUSTERS, which combines a team of specialists, analysis equipment, and artificial intelligence technology. Human expertise and machine technology, each verifying the other.

Then our own, piece by piece.

This preliminary inspection does not exempt us from our own. Every piece is handled and examined point by point: stitching and stitch consistency, lining, labels, stamps, hardware, serial codes, zippers, edge finishing, and the patina of the leather.

What this examination reveals is documented on the product page, including any flaws. The photographs show the markings found on the piece itself, not on a reference model.

The retailers' inspection is an addition to our own, not a replacement for it.

Every detail, with complete transparency.

Because a second-hand piece has its own unique characteristics, we make sure to present each item accurately. Dimensions, condition, signs of wear, and any imperfections are detailed on the product pages, accompanied by representative photographs. For bags and accessories, we specify the dimensions and, where applicable, the length of the handles or shoulder strap.
